Feasibility Studies

Baseline Assessments

Additionality Analysis
We assess whether your project delivers emissions reductions or other climate benefits that would not have occurred without the intervention. This is a critical requirement for carbon market eligibility. We apply the latest methodologies from Verra, Gold Standard, and Article 6 to ensure your project meets international standards.
Environmental & Social Impact Assessment (ESIA)
We conduct or coordinate the ESIA process, ensuring compliance with national regulations and international safeguard standards (IFC Performance Standards, GCF Environmental and Social Policy). We also help you develop the management plans and monitoring systems required to implement safeguard commitments.
MRV Framework Design
We design the Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification systems that funders and carbon markets require. This includes indicator selection, data collection protocols, quality assurance procedures, and reporting templates. A well-designed MRV framework is essential for demonstrating results and accessing carbon market revenue.
Carbon Credit Eligibility Assessment
We evaluate your project against the requirements of Article 6 (Paris Agreement), the Voluntary Carbon Market (Verra, Gold Standard), or other carbon crediting mechanisms. We help you understand your eligibility, identify potential barriers, and develop a strategy for accessing carbon revenue.
Independent Verification

We define the scope of the evaluation—what questions need answering, what decisions the evaluation will inform, and what level of rigor is required. A feasibility study for an internal decision is different from an independent verification for a carbon registry. We tailor our approach to your specific needs.
Step 2: Desk Review & Data Collection (Week 2-4)
We review existing documents, data, and studies. We identify data gaps and develop a plan to fill them through field visits, surveys, or stakeholder consultations. We work with your team to access the information we need.
Step 3: Field Assessment (Week 5-8)
Where required, we conduct site visits, interviews, and technical measurements. We work with local partners to ensure culturally appropriate and gender-sensitive data collection. We understand the practical challenges of conducting fieldwork in remote or vulnerable communities.
Step 4: Analysis & Draft Report (Week 9-12)
We analyse the data, apply relevant methodologies (GHG Protocol, IFRS S2, CDM methodologies, etc.), and prepare a draft evaluation report with clear findings and recommendations. We present our findings in plain language, with technical annexes for those who need the detail.
Step 5: Review & Finalisation (Week 13-14)
We share the draft with you for feedback, incorporate comments, and finalise the report. We can also present findings to your board, funders, or other stakeholders. We ensure the final report is a document you can use with confidence.
