When Nepal began aligning with the ISSB through the Nepal Sustainability Reporting Standards (NSRS), Roshan recognised a critical gap. The country was adopting world-class climate disclosure requirements, but the expertise to implement them rigorous, audit-grade, and Nepal-specific was scarce. Foreign consultants did not understand the local context. Local firms lacked the technical depth. And the accounting profession, which would ultimately be responsible for assuring this data, was only beginning to engage.

He founded R.D. Advisors to close that gap. The firm brings the discipline of financial audit to the emerging world of carbon accounting, ESG reporting, and climate finance ensuring that Nepali organisations can report their climate performance with the same credibility as their financial statements.
